Welcome Laramie Kossler, BRCA New Admin Assistant! Green Hill Communication Clarification

We would like to provide a correction/clarification to our BRCA 28605 update from January 11, 2024.

• Regarding the information provided about the communications poles on Green Hill at the 2023 Winter Retreat,
• then Town Manager Shane Fox indicated that there would be replacements, but with no increase in height above the current 60 feet
• At the Town Council’s summer retreat in June 2023, interim Town Manager Kevin Rothrock announced that:

“the new pole would be higher than the current poles because of tree growth and that they were looking at 80 feet, pending engineering input.  Kevin said at the summer retreat “He also said that he thought a Special Use Permit would be required under the Town Code because of the additional height and would be looking into that.”

Planning Board Agenda has not been posted.  On the agenda is the draft of the 2024 Comprehensive Plan.  The second item on the agenda is a SUP for Arbor Village Subdivision.  The Draft 2024 Plan can be viewed at:

 Sewer Work on Main Street Update:
 From Town Hall: On January 15, sewer work will begin on Main Street at the Morris Street intersection. Morris Street will be closed at this location. Sewer installation on Main Street will then continue towards Chestnut

9^th – Voter Registration Deadline at 5:00 pm
15^th – Early Voting Begins
27^th – Last Day to Request Absentee Ballot by Mail
March
2^nd – Early Voting Ends at Noon
5^th – Presidential Preference Primary
5^th – Deadline for Absentee by Mail ballots to be received at office is 7:30 pm
15^th – Primary Canvass
